Weekend Preview: Jun 26 – 27
The setters are hard at work at Rock Spot, so there’s another reset comp. (Seems like they’re always resetting those walls!) And in keeping with the feel of summer, GV in Middletown is hosting a bouldering comp and BBQ.
Also, the world’s best comp climbers are still hanging out in China. Get ready for the 4th World Cup happening this weekend in Haiyang. If you have a flexible sleep schedule, check out the live stream🙂

Straight from Rock Spot: “This is a “just for fun” competition that revolves around our bouldering reset. The top 3 men and women of the competition will earn Rock Spot Climbing gift cards, bragging rights, and their picture on a plaque that will be displayed in the gym until the next reset, where they can try and defend their title.”

The month continues to be quiet one for local comps. There’s a small community comp going on at RS for those in the area. Everyone else should get their climbing sessions done and settle in for the next installment of back-to-back Bouldering World Cup weekends, this time in China.
