It looks like the Northeast got the memo that bouldering comp season started! ABS, UBS and Quebec Cup are all kicking off this Saturday. Not to be left out until their ABS comp on 11/8, Earth Treks is throwing a sweet sounding Harry Potter themed members party.

This is actually a member’s party that has a dyno comp and baking competition as part it. They seem to be going all out on the Harry Potter theme and there will also be crate stacking and yummy fall treats. “Should be a hoot!” says Pigwidgeon.

The QC season starts with a senior event at the new Bloc Shop gym with an isolation format bouldering comp.
UBS S3V9 – Grand River Rocks, Kitchener, ON
Cost: $40
Climbing: 9:00am – 5:00pm (Check schedule for when each category climbs.)
Categories: Beginner, Intermediate, Open
The UBS season also begins this weekend with a redpoint bouldering comp. It is only open to registered college students. There will be prizes for top finishing individuals, as well as teams.
