After the hype and excitement of The Heist, we’re letting the boys back in the game and getting bouldering comp season in full swing. Here are the options around the region:

Redezvous Ruckus – Central Rock Gym, Hadley, MA

WMCC Rendezvous comp – multiple locations, western MA
Cost: $10 or included with weekend pass
Climbing: 8am – 5pm
This is an outdoor route comp taking place at 3 different crags as part of the WMCC Rendezvous activities.
Test Your Core – The Edge, Halfmoon, NY
Cost: $15 gym members, $25 non-members, $5 fee for youth who are not USA Climbing members
Climbing: Youth 2pm – 6pm, Adults 7pm – 9pm
This is an ABS local comp for youth climbers. The format is standard with top 5 climbs in 4 hours being counted. For the adult climbers it is citizens comp with a crazy new format. They’re counting your top 8 climbs and you only have 2 hours. Can you say stamina?
This is an indoor bouldering comp open to Canadian college students. Each category climbs at separate times with prizes going to winners in each category, as well as top finishing teams.
Share the Burn – Philadelphia Rock Gym, East Falls, PA
Cost: $45 for a team of 2
Climbing: 6pm – 9pm
Categories: Beg, Int, Adv, Open (partners do not have to be in the same category!)
This is an indoor bouldering partner comp. Each team is made up of 2 climbers. Teammates do not have to be in the same category/skill level.

Infinity Speed Climb – Stone Age Rock Gym, Manchester, CT
Climbing: 6pm – 8:30pm

This is a youth speed climbing competition. Divisions will be based on climb times. All entrants receive a free shirt with entry.
