This weekend is about serious competition.  In the US, we have the youth competing in regionals where they will have a chance to qualify for divisionals and get one step closer to making nationals!  In Canada, we have the next stop on the Tour de Bloc.

Registration for ABS Regionals has closed.  These are all day events.  Check a gym’s schedule for when an age group is climbing and check the running order to find a specific climber.  These gyms are still looking for volunteers.  If interested, please contact the gym directly and let them know.

I’ll be climbing in my very first Tour de Bloc this weekend and I am so excited.  I had to rest quite a bit over the Thanksgiving holiday due to injury and illness.  I’m hoping I have the stamina for this event.  I’m also hoping that the injuries stay on the healing path and don’t detour into further aggravation.  So, did I rest too much?  too little?  just enough?  We shall see.
