Weekend Preview: Apr 19 – 20

We have some fun comps happening, but I’m a little surprised that this weekend doesn’t seem to have any Easter themed comps. So far we have had themed comps for Halloween, Christmas, St Patrick’s Day and lots that weren’t related to any holiday at all. We’re all about the themes! What gives? A vertical Easter Egg Hunt would be awesome! Who’s going to make this happen?

Saturday, April 19 & Sunday, April 20, 2014

Eastern Route Regional – True North, Toronto, ON
Cost: Registration has closed
Climbing: Quals on Sat, Semis & Finals on Sun
Categories: Youth C, B, A, Jr, Open

This is the last stop before Route Nationals! All Youth (except category D) and Open climbers can test themselves against the best that Eastern Canada has to offer. As it has been all season, Youth C will be on top-rope and all other categories will be on lead in this onsight competition.

The past few years have seen me transition into only competing in bouldering. The rope season gives me a much needed break from the physical & mental demand of competition and affords me the time focus on getting healthy and strong. This will be the first weekend in the new training cycle. Getting psyched!
