ABS Local – Carabiner’s, Fairfield, CT
Cost: $35 pre-registered, $40 day of, $5 fee for non-USAC members
Climbing: 12:00pm – 4:00pm

This is an ABS local redpoint comp open to all ages. Ribbons for each category and a raffle will follow climbing. When registering through link above, be sure to click on tab for special events to access registration for the comp.

ABS Local – Petra Cliffs, Burlington, VT
Cost: $25
Climbing: 3:00pm – 6:00pm
Categories: Jr, Youth A, B, C & D, Open, Beg, Int, Adv, Masters

This redpoint bouldering comp is an ABS local for the youth and a full citizens comp for the adults. Swap beta between the generations on over 80 new problems for a chance to win a prize in your category! Pre-registration gets you into an exclusive raffle.

Cost: $35 pre-registered, $40 day of, $5 fee for non-USAC members

This ABS local redpoint comp is open to youth only. Ribbons and food will follow climbing.

Boneyard Boulder Bash – Vertical Rock, Manassas, VA
Youth: Cost: $35 pre-registered, $5 fee for non-USAC members
Climbing: 10:00am – 2:00pm

Adults: Cost: $20 pre-registered Vertical Rock members, $25 pre-registered non-VR          members, $30 day of
Climbing: 5:00pm – 8:00pm, 8:30pm Finals

Vertical Rock is keeping the party going all day starting with an ABS youth local redpoint comp followed by a citizens redpoint bouldering comp, then food and drink during finals. Halloween costumes are encouraged! *Update: The youth comp has sold out and the adult comp is getting close.

Penn Pulldown – University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, PA
Cost: $10 PCCS members, $15 non-members
Climbing: 1:00pm – 6:00pm, Finals to follow

The second round of the Philly Collegiate Climbing Series is going down at Penn with a redpoint bouldering comp. All registration is day of, at the door.

There are some fun choices this weekend for competing. I’m throwing my hat in the ring at Petra Cliffs. I always have a blast at their comps and Burlington has some of the best restaurants. Weekend plans: send, send, send and nom, nom, nom!
