This is a top-rope comp that is part of the Mid-Atlantic Collegiate Climbing Series.

Beta Bloc – WPI, Worcester, MA
Cost: $5 pre-registered students, $7 day of students or any fac/staff/alumni

This bouldering comp is open to all ages and abilities. An event t-shirt is included in registration and there will be great prizes!

This Saturday is ABS Regionals in America. The registration for this multi-round on-sight bouldering comp has closed, but spectators are welcome and volunteers are always appreciated. Check with the individual gyms if you are interested in helping out. Results from this comp will determine those climbers that move on to Divisionals in January.

One Tribe – York College, York, PA
Cost: $15 pre-registered, $20 day of
Climbing: 10:00am

There will be top-rope and bouldering at this comp, plus a lead (qualified climbers only) exhibition, but only the top-rope results will be counted towards MACCS scoring. It is only open to students (grad & undergrad) and you must bring your student ID and course schedule to register. Free T-shirt with entry, but supplies are limited!

I am heading to Altitude for the next installment of the Tour de Bloc. The knee injury that I sustained during finals of the last TdB is keeping the extent of my participation in question, but I’ll be there!! I’m hoping that my traditional American Thanksgiving dinner was a magical elixir that cures knees. If not, I’m eating lots of Christmas cookies just to cover my bases:)
