Weekend Preview: February 14 – 16

There are a few fun comps going on this weekend in our area, but the big excitement is Canadian Youth Bouldering Nationals!  ABS Youth Nationals are also going on out in Madison, Wisconsin.  Check out the live feed for that www.lt11.tv.

The University Climbing Series (formerly the UBS) is hosting two bouldering comps this weekend. The YSU comp will be run in two flights and there will be a fee for spectators to enter the building, as well as a possible parking fee.

The best youth boulderers in Canada are all coming to Climber’s Rock to crush.  It’s time to name the National Champions in each category! Do not miss this culmination of the youth bouldering season!!!!

Climbing: 6:00pm – 9:00pm
Categories: none, it’s a winner take all!

This comp will be have points-per-hold scoring, a rarity in Canada. Come check it out, see what you think!

On Saturday, I will be at the Milton Meltdown. I am super excited about this comp, because I have been trying to go for a few years now and this is the first time it fit in my schedule. Can’t wait to check out the gym. Then on Monday, I’ll swing up to Montreal to take part in their new Ground Fall comp series.
