UBS Comp – Rock Oasis, Toronto, ON

If you are a college student in the Toronto area, do not miss this UBS comp.  Volume 19 of the bouldering series will be held at Rock Oasis for the first time.

Iron Maiden – Metro Rock, Essex Junction, VT

Climbing: 2:00pm – 5:00pm, Finals 6:15pm

This bouldering comp is for the ladies!  A $1000 cash purse is up for grabs to the pros in finals.  Youth and Junior categories also have a finals round.  Citizens will compete in just the redpoint round, which is also the qualifier round for the others.  $12 will get you a sweet IM T-shirt, just add it to your cart during online registration.  There is also a discount available for those who sign up in a group.

Ring of Fire 2 – Central Rock Gym, Hadley, MA
Cost: $35 pre-registered

Another chance to hone your competition skills so you can show them off later this month at the Ring of Fire finals with all those national competitors watching! Youth and Adult Beginner categories will be on top-rope, all others will be leading.

CCS Local Comp – Gravity Vault, Chatham, NJ
Cost: $25 pre-registered, $30 day of, $5 fee for non-USAC members

This USAC collegiate comp  hosted by Ramapo College will feature sport climbing, speed climbing, and bouldering in a redpoint format.  The gym is running a youth local comp prior to this comp, so they ask that competitors not arrive before 3:00pm.

USAC Local Comp – Gravity Vault, Chatham, NJ
Cost: $35 pre-registered, $40 day of, $5 fee for non-USAC members
Climbing: 10:00am – 2:00pm

This is a USAC youth local sport climbing comp, top rope and lead climbing in a redpoint format.  Competitors will need their own belayer.

OCF Comp – Junction Climbing Centre, London, ON

This is the first difficulty local comp of the season for Ontario.  Categories D & C will be on top-rope, others will be leading.

Coupe Quebec Comp – Delire Escalade, Quebec, QC

QCC Comp – Boiler Room, Kingston, ON
Cost: $40, $35 for QCC members
Climbing: Youth: 9:00am – 11:00am, Adults: 9:00am – 6:00pm, Finals: 7:00pm – 9:00pm

This is a mixed format scramble comp.  Your top 3 scores from bouldering and from top-rope will determine your final score.  Advanced category climbers will be fighting for a spot in finals.  The adult climbing time will be broken up by category, Beg 9:00am – 12:00pm, Adv 12:00pm – 3:00pm, and Int 3:00pm – 6:00pm.  To make it even better, there’s scheduled pizza time from 6:00pm – 7:00pm!
