The 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi will begin on Friday, February 7th and ice climbing will be demonstrated during a, or possibly as a, “cultural event.”  No one seems to be quite sure what “cultural event” means, when the demo(s) will occur or what exactly it will entail.  Regardless, best of luck to all the climbers representing out in Sochi!  Stay safe and warm.
