It’s election time! And like all elections, it’s super important that you vote, because your voice needs to be heard. All current USAC members should have received an email with information regarding the election.

USAC membership is voting for Athlete Directors (2) and representatives for the Athletes’ Advisory Committee (4). Check your email for profiles of each candidate and a ballot link. Voting ends Aug 31, at 5pm Mountain Time, but don’t wait, vote now!

Full disclosure! I am running for one of the spots on the Athletes’ Advisory Committee. I am very excited at the prospect of getting involved with administration of the sport at a national level and helping to shape the sport in the coming years. During my travel, training, competing, and blogging, I get the opportunity to speak with so many climbers. That has given me a lot of insight into the diverse needs, perspectives, and opinions of the participants of our sport. I would love the opportunity to bring those thoughts and ideas forward and work towards making climbing even better!
